I'm new and have some questions and not sure where to post them, so I'm going to post them here and if they're in the wrong place, I'm sorry. I wasn't sure where to post them, being new to this site and all, and if they get moved, that's ok. I understand!

So the questions are:

1. What is 'wpa_supplicant.exe'?
2. How does it work?
3. Is it harmful to the system?
4. Why do I keep getting these 'wpa_supplicant.exe' error messages'?
5. In English, how can I get rid of them and prevent them from coming back?

wpa_supplicant.exe is a Windows program to encrypt wireless network data.

In Windows it encrypts data going to a wireless network and it decrypts data coming from a wireless network.

It depends on what the error messages are and what operating system you are using.

I don't know if a Windows wpa_supplicant.exe can work on Linux via ndiswrapper. I know that ndiswrapper is a Linux driver wrapper to make Windows wireless network card drivers work on Linux.

So, to repeat, if you are trying to use wpa_supplicant.exe on a Linux computer you may or may not succeed by using ndiswrapper. Check Google for more information. Then if you still have questions come back here with those questions. We will try to answer them to the best of our collective ability.
