Working with pdf files
I have completely switched to Linux - Ubuntu 9.04 and do not have Windows. I need a software equivalent of Adobe Acrobat in Linux to read, edit, download web pages into pdf etc. Please suggest the best one.

For editing there's PDFedit which I think is in ubuntu repos or if you like command line utilities there's pdftk. As for general viewing I most liked evince in Gnome, though at the moment I'm using epdfview in LXDE.

There is a plugin for firefox that will convert web pages to pdfs, or convert pdfs to html.
