Working on Gnome workstation with mandrake installed. server access??

alrigh guys, I'm new here, I have mandrake Linux installed, and am working under a gnome workstation as the administrator. I would like this to be a web server, and would also like to access another server which is called "tech2" with windows I simply go to windows/run/ \\tech2, how would I access "tech2" with gnome? and, how would I make this workstation accessible from a windows XP pro machine? The reason I want this workstation to be accessible is because it was meant as a file server, and so far, I have no known way to actually store files on here.

Sorry about this message being so hard to read.

Thanks for the help in advance,
Zlord

SAMBA is the (Windows-compatible) file/print sharing solution under Linux. It should do most of what you ask.
