No, that's what existing documentation is for. Go to google, search for "how to install wordpress" and read.

I've followed these instructions a dozen times and never had a problem: http://codex.wordpress.org/Installing_WordPress

Also check your distro's documentation; for example if you use Ubuntu there is an alternate method described here: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/WordPress

(But I would use the wordpress instructions, personally---who knows more about wordpress than wordpress?)

please tell me how to do. Because it was a practical interview question.
If i did this i may get the job..
Again they are taking the interview for me, so its a second chance..
They are only asking to me install wordpress.

Here is the easiest way to install wordpress: http://codex.wordpress.org/Installing_WordPress

If you want help, you need to tell us what you've tried so far, which step you are stuck on, and what are the specific error messages.

Wordpress is very easy to install if you patiently follow the directions step-by-step. I am sorry if this sounds rude, but if you do not have the skills to do the job, it is not fair to ask us to help you fake your way through the job interview. Practice installing Wordpress on your home/school computer using the instructions above, then uninstall and do it again, then do it again, until you are confident you understand how to install wordpress, then you will pass your interview.

I hate to sound harsh, but if you can't understand the instructions, and don't possess the skills needed to DO the job, then you're not QUALIFIED for the job. And another point...if we could (somehow), feed you easier instructions, you would STILL not be able to perform the job after you get it.

The instructions are very, VERY clear and easy to follow. You've been given good links/advice, and if you can't understand them, then you need to keep studying and learning until you DO understand them.

If you get a job for something you don't understand, you shouldn't get the job. Sorry if that sounds harsh, but the last thing you want is a job you can't do, right?
