I've been using Wordpress for five years. I'm not an expert, but I'm pretty good with it.
Feel free to contact me if you think I can help.

i suppose you need to find a host ... byethost works good for me (google it , i dont want to make advertisement on the forum ...)
and there , get to the ftp , and put the necessary files there . also byethost has nice tools to do that automatically , but i didn't use them . I don't manage my blog anymore , i just use wordpress.com and blgspot , but anyways , i did it , just copy the files in the ftp and then you're good to go .
I hope i helped you.

You also need a mysql database for wordpress. I've set up a few wordpress blogs; it's pretty simple if you follow their instructions.
