won't let me install wine


i tried to install wine with
Code:
pacman -S wine
and it said

Errors occurred, no packages were upgraded.
and i got my info here https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Wine

You need to indicate which distribution of Linux you are using. The errors clearly state the files were not found and were not available where you were looking for them. Indicate which distribution you are using and someone familiar with it can tell you how to change/accesss repositories where the programs are.

you might want to run an update first
updates in Arch are something that should be ran at least every other day
