wlan0: ERROR while getting interface flag: No such device

Im new to linux and i setup a vertual mechine and try to run backtrack 4 n 5 also. i have windows 7 and i tried to up my wlan0 but unfortunatly it cnt up and always error msg in my subject appears. please help me . now i tried 2-3 weeks for this but nothings change.

If you are running a virtual machine, the guest OS is not going to be able to see your internal wireless card. The only way to use a wireless card within a virtual machine is to use an external USB card and have virtualization software that allows USB pass through.

Alternatively, you could just try running Backtrack from a LiveCD or LiveUSB and skip the virtual machine.
