wLan unresolved symbols?

*trying to get the wLan driver to work w/ my card/system*
I just installed a fresh copy of RedHat 9.0 ((2.4.20-8)), then right after installation I ran the 3 RPM's for the i386 kernel. I get a bunch of unresolved symbols messages. My processor is an Athlon 1.4 ghz, but the kernel states it's i386, and the wireless card is a Linksys WMP11... and I'm positive i have the right RPM's installed. So....what can I check to fix this, has anyone else resolved this in the past? This is my only roadblock to making a full switch to Linux, ((i haven't been able to get online w/ my wireless card))

Thanks in advance...
