Wireless unavailable using Fedora 15 on Acer Aspire AS7551G-7606 laptop
Hey guys, Another linux brand-newbie here falling into the deep end of the pool. I have an Acer Aspire AS7551G-7606 Notebook AMD Phenom II Quad-Core N970(2.2GHz) and I just put Fedora 15 on it. The wireless is now unavailable... what do I need to do to find and correct this problem (step by step)? i am not giving up!!
Chipset: AMD M880G
Atheros AR9287 Wireless Card (i think) how do i find this info?
Sweet, now i know it is an AR9287 wireless adapter. I could sure use a little more help. Remember i am a newbie. what are the terminal commands to enable this adapter?
