Wireless not working

Just update your firmware version of the inbuilt wi-fi device(Only if Fedora has recognized your wi-fi device otherwise update the driver). I've also came across with this problem. I just updated the firmware of the device then everything was fine.

If you mean the touch sensor button doesn't turn a light on and off, that's fairly common. It's a pain, because it means you can't figure out if your wireless is on or not. I usually run iwconfig <interface_name,e.g., wlan> scan and if it says interface doesn't support scanning, I try the button or switch a few more times.

As for getting the card working, the best thing is probably to do lspci, and one of the lines at the bottom should give you the type of wireless card that you have. Most can be made to work with Fedora.

The next issue can be NetworkManager. I have a little page, fairly Fedora centric, about making sure that NetworkManager (sometimes unfondly called NetworkMangler) isn't the issue at http://home.roadrunner.com/~computer.../wireless.html
