wireless networking

I have a Fedora desktop connected to a combination DSL modem/router.
The modem name is 2wire. I have a printer connected to the desktop.
I have a Vista laptop that connects wirelessly to the internet by the
modem/router. Is is possible for the laptop to wirelessly print to the
printer connected to the Fedora desktop?

Someone said that the Windows Workgroups have to be the same and the printer and Fedora desktop have to be shared. What would be the Fedora
equivalent of Windows Workgroup and sharing?
Is this configuration possible, or would I need a wireless printer server for the printer for the laptop to see it wirelessly?

If you setup Samba on the Linux host then it can appear as a Windows shared resource on the network. Here is a link to a blog on that topic

You can also setup CUPS on the Linux host to allow remote hosts to print -> here is a link to a discussion on this

There are a number of resources on the web about either topic.

I am using Fedora 10 and trying to get my WG511v2 Wireless card to work. I have been to forum after forum and little luck so far. I tried some steps listed on this site in another topic and I was able to confirm the version of ndiswrapper with this command:

rpm -qa freshrpms-release dkms-ndiswrapper

However when I tried to install the wireless card driver with the command:

ndiswrapper /home/Quivx/Software/Wireless/WG511v2/Driver/Windows\ XP/WG511v2.INF

I get:

bash: ndiswrapper: command not found

Is there something that I am missing, or am I out of luck? Please help, if anyone can. I am trying to just get my wireless card to work.
