Wireless Issue
I recently picked up a copy of Ubuntu because I wanted to try new things and well... quite frankly... Microsoft Must Fall... Anyway, I fooled around with it for about 2 days trying to figure out how to get my Wireless online... tried the drivers and ndiswrapper... I couldnt get that to work... so I did a lil research on the net, and found FREESPIRE... and guess what... my card shows up, its showing my wireless signal from the router... so I clicked CONNECT and... it tries to connect for about 45 seconds and then goes back to the red and white x. So, heres the info..

Belkin Wireless G Network Card. F5D7000

lspci = 00:07.0 Network Controller: RaLink RT2500 802.11 Cardbus/Mini-PCI (Rev 01)
(I know the RT2500 isnt the same as the F5D700, but from what I can tell from reading for the last 6 days, they are the same drivers and all thus FreeSpire picks them up as the same card.)

Signal Shows Up As:
Network: Linksys
Trusted: No
Bandwidth: Unknown
Signal Strength: 62
Encrypted: No
And the typical Linksys wireless router. I currently have 4 other PC's running on this router (3xp and 1vista) and they arent having any network issues.
