I have two computers, one in my living room and one in my room. Both of the computers were running Windows XP , but I switched the computer in my room to Ubuntu and I guess that this messed up my Linksys connection.


My question is, how would I go about getting it back and setup on the Ubuntu system? I believe I lost the original disk that came with it, but if I can recall correctly, It wasn't needed.

connect the ubuntu pc to the internet and keep the other pc connected by lan ?

you will need to do a little configuration ... ip addresses, gateway ...
