wireless disabled
 
Hi every one !
i use centos 6 64 bit for long , last week a friend try to boot scientific linux 32 bit in my machine and the wireless got disabled instead and no way to re enable upto now
on command : iwconfig
it returns
lo no wireless extensions
eth0 no wireless extensions
wlan0 IEEE 802.11abg ESSID:off/any
Mode :managed access point : Not-Assopciated Tx-Power=off
Retry long limit:7 RTS thr:off Fragment thr:off
Encryption key :off
Power Management:on

Can any one help me on this

That's the issue. Figure how to turn it on. If you can't give details of your laptop, wifi card, distro and WM and someone may be able to help. I boot an undeleted windows install as a workaround when someone switches off the wifi button:-/.
