wireless connection problem.,opo up window asks for a authentication password
 
have a IBM T 40 running Ubuntu/linux12.04 version.I cannot access my wireless connection due to pop up window displayed asking for a authentication password?,have tried everything and no go! My internet provider cannot figure out the issue either,and the same pop up shows while on internet via USB cord.Bought the PC on line and the seller included the (admin) password but that does not help either>Not familiar with linux at all and until I can uninstall and replace with windows I'm Stuck!!!pls any help out there???

What does the message say exactly? If it asks for the WLAN password, did you try entering it?
