wireless adapter
 

Hi,
I'm new using fedora and I've downloaded and installed Fedora form the website.
Everything went fine till I needed to use an wireless connection. My laptop is a sony vaio VGN-Z21WN and the issue is when I go to the connections tab I have the wireless one blocked, I probably think its because maybe it doesnt detect the wireless adapter. can someone help me solving that issue?

What is the wireless chipset?

One way to find out is to run dmesg as root and inspect the output of the command (there are other ways, but I know my way around dmesg and it is my favored tool).

Some wireless chipsets can be problematic under Linux. Broadcom, for example, has only recently started to make Linux drivers available to the community.
