WinXP to Linux frustrations

I am really enjoying my Linux Ubuntu OS. . that is until I try to install my archived windows files that contain years of backup. This has proved to be very frustrating to me. My Broderbund/Parsons Address book will not migrate into Linux and I use a Rolodex Calendar that wont work inside of Linux even using PlayonLinux and WINE. Any ideas for me?? I have enjoyed Linux and have configured my email and it works great.

Yes, here's an idea:

The fact is, the program is obsolete and isn't recommended or supported for *any* contemporary OS: Linux *or* Windows.

But, as the link above suggests, you can easily export your address data into .csv file, then import it anywhere you want.

'Hope that helps .. PSM

Great Info

That's just what I was hoping for. The .csv file has so much history for me, I hated to let it go and it works fine in XP. I will try that out. Thanks again.
