WinXP on Linux!!


hey, I just found this page XPde.com
Looks great, huh?

Is there any disadvantages to this? Or should i start using it today??...and tell my friends the same...

thats more like an XP GUI, its still linux inside, but the outside looks like WinXP

Not impressed.
I've done better with a couple of hours, and www.kde-look.org.
If you want stability, and an XP-ish feel - go get KDE 3.2.3, and some themes from the url above.

ya, have you seen, they have win registry in there as well, i didnt know linux had a win reg...

nah, this is what a desktop should look like (not updated to KDE 3.3 yet, will do this evening)

what i think is XPDE does not expose the full functiinalities of linux, and there going to be bugs in that, i tried xp de but it could not match the functionalilty of kde
