Winmodem in Linux

I have a SiS 56k Winmodem on IRQ 11 if that helps. I use a HSP56 MR driver in Windows but the pctel driver for linux doesnt seem to work. If anybody knows where I could get a tgz package for the driver that would help a lot. Thanks in advance.

You should search the threads but i'm pretty sure I've read a couple times that a winmodem won't work in linux.
