I've had a quick Google about and it looks like Winki OS is something that is particular to some MSI motherboards, possibly as a plug-in hardware module, see
here. As such it looks like it's held in firmware so upgrading it/changing it, etc is something which would have to be done via MSI as they've developed it which looks like via the set-up CD from MSI which can only be run from a working Microsoft Windows environment?
