winex3 and xbox help

If someone has an xbox with debian 1.01 and winex3 running could you please give me a hand.

Maybe point out a step by step

I've tried for weeks, read alot about it, tried different tutorials (i believe only 1 was xbox specific and that was for gentoox)

For the love of all things linux please help before i take up smoking again my nerves can't take it much longer.

Thanks in advance

Well, want to be a little more specific on your problem? I've got an xbox running Xebian, so I can test out your problems.. but what they? Having trouble compiling? Can't get it to run win32 apps?

thanks

ok here is where im at so far i have an external harddrive setup for the xbox on one drive i have gentoox running and the other debian.

On the Gentoox drive i was able to install winex(cvs install) without too much of a problem but when i ran winex i would recieve the following error

[err:ntdll:display_wait_error] Timeout. Retry with 60 secs.

60 seconds would go by followed by this error
err:ntdll:display_wait_error crit (0x4013ba4c): lc 1 rc 0 ot 0 sem 36 spin 0

err: seh: EXC_Defaulthandling Unhandled exception code c0000194 flags 0 addr 0 x 40076350

I haven't been able to solve this problem so i thought i would try xebian instead, here is where im at now

i've installed ed's xebian 1.01 with kde3.2
from there i went to transgaming.com and downloaded winex3_3.3.1-1_i386.deb

i then went into konsole and typed dpgk -i winexwinex3_3.3.1-1_i386.deb

it unpacked it and went back to prompt, i guess my question would be what should i do now?

I really appreciate you taking the time to give me a hand, im so very new to linux.

After you installed winex reagrdless of the platform or distro you just use it via:

winex3 <program name>

Granted there are quite a few options you can pass to the program via the CLI.
