You did it in proper dir, so there were really ./bitcomet.exe? Also, maybe try copying bitcomet.exe to /tmp and running:

wine Z:\\tmp\\bitcomet.exe ;
wine Z:/tmp/bitcomet.exe ;
wine /tmp/bitcomet.exe ;

lets try to make it easier not using the terminal (it is not the easiest thing to use) ok find the file bitcomet.exe right click it and then select, in the menu that appears, open with. then in the top of the box type wine then at the bottom selece remember application association for this type of file. and then from now on just click or double click (depending on how you set up your computer) the file ending in exe and it will automaticaly open with wine

Dear 1dude1, terminal does make things easier because errors from Wine go directly to console and are immediately posted here.

Markitos: go to ~/.wine/drive_c (it's because of dot you didn't see wine folder). Check what is the path to executable of installed bitcomet. I assume i will be "Program Files/BitComet/BitComet.exe" - if not (very likely) change obvious changes. Type
wine "C:\\Program Files\\BitComet\\BitComet.exe"
check the case of letters - it must match path you'll find. Or go to winecfg and create a drive (say, b which will refer to /home/user/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/BitComet . Then type
wine B:\\BitComet.exe
(Or however executable is named).
