Wine Problems...where are my files?!

Hello

Yesterday I want to install Adobe CS2 with the wine emulator. During the installation I got no problems and everything gone fine. But when the instalation finished I don't know how I could start for example Photoshop. Alt+F2 don't works and I also search for a .exe in the folder /home/Chrisi/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/Adobe but it is empty.

If it helps I use Mepis with KDE 3.5.3

I hope you can help me thanks!

Did you install as that user? If you used su or sudo, check in /root/.wine/drive_c for the photoshop exe.

You can use 'find /home/Chrisi -iname *.exe' in a terminal to locate all Windows executables in your home dir if manually hunting for it isn't working.

I don't klick Run in Terminal but if I do the Terminal opens, but not for long, after 2 seconds it disappear.

If I don't klick Run in Terminal the wine icon bumps but also only for two seconds and then...nothing

Maybe it is the wrong *.exe but where is it then?

Have you tried opening a terminal then running the program from there? If you open the terminal first and run it manually, the terminal won't disappear like that and you can read the error messages that it gives you.

Open a terminal and run 'wine /path/to/Run.exe'

Post any errors you get from that command here so we can help some more.
