wine: no such file or directory????

ok, i installed winex with

<root password>
rpm -ivh winex3.3.1.i586.rpm

everything was isntalled corectly (or so i thought)
but then every time i try to run a program using wine, for example:

wine /mnt/cdrom/autorun.exe

i get this message:

wine: chdir to /home/luke/.wine/wineserver - luke : no such file or directory

(by the way-my user name is luke, if preformed on root...)

wine: chdir to /home/root/.wine/wineserver - luke : no such file or directory
what is goin on???

create a directory .wine in your home directory
(by the way-my user name is luke, if preformed on root...)
you have used

instead of

su -

su - command sets the context to the new user's environment. using just su retains the environment settings of the user who issued the su command.
