Wine help!!!
I have just recently installed wine build 20030709 (the newest one). It seems to be working (wine is now a viable command in the shell and wine can run simplistic .exe programs), but when I try to install something a little more complex (i.e. msn messenger, windows media player ie 6), i receive the error "Please install a Windows OS". The program created a fake c:, but the program still doesn't work. Is there something more I need to download? Do I need to configure a file or something?

Neither of them are gonna work. And if that could be possible... it would take a lot of time to make it work.
There are lots of msn clients for linux, and great video players.

yah just like serz says....there is in fact lots of msn clients and video players for linux, and actually i personally think they are better than the windoze versions...
i recommend amsn for messanger, and my recommendation for video player is xine and if people reply to this they will more than likely recommend mplayer which is also a very good player, i just use xine more than mplayer.
