Wine..?
well still trying to install Wine no way for 7 days
is this the way to go the way of windows ..new packs for ever.......? |
As you're using Ubuntu, you may want to go to http://winehq.org, then click Download, then on the Ubuntu link and follow the installation instructions for your Ubuntu version - IE if you have Karmic, follow the Karmic specific instructions, if you have Jaunty, use what it says for Jaunty.
If you're getting an error of some description, please provide us with the details of it, so we can help you further. |
How much do you know about Linux? do you know what package management is?
You should be able to install wine by going into the terminal and typing Code:
sudo apt-get install wine Do you now know what you need to do, or have you tried and it's giving you errors? |
I'm confused, what are you saying? You can't install wine?
jmite's command will help you out, if you're using 64bit, I'm not sure if ubuntu has that. |
Ubuntu has 64-bit wine in its repositiories, I'm running it, it's a little buggy, but then again, isn't wine?
