wine 193 error
 

i i have installed wine in my debian dedi box

now everything i try to run with wine it gives me a 193 error

i am trying to get a couple of things working one been winrar

please dont say install urar i have tried it does not work

is there anything else you can use to pack files in to seprate files

e.g a 700 meg into say 7 100 meg files ?

I have no idea what that error code means. You should really try to run it manually on a terminal, and see what the output looks like.

In any case, you should really double check if any native tool can do the work. Maybe your version of unrar is old. You can also try rar (not unrar, but the propietary rar, which exists for linux as well) and 7z which can uncompress almost everything imaginable.

Lots of tools. tar, 7z, arj, lzma... even zip. I usually stay aways from closed formats like rar unless there's no other alternative.
