I just attempted to install the WINE rpm onto my mandrake 8.1 KDE. The file name was... wine-20020307-1.i386.rpm and during istallation it gives me an error thats says....

cups-libs <>=S 1.1.12 is needed by wine-20020307-1
libcrypto.so.2 <>=S 1.1.12 is needed by wine-20020307-1
libssl.so.2 <>=S 1.1.12 is needed by wine-20020307-1

Nothing went wrong, it is just the dependency resolution situation you are facing, go to http://rpmfind.net to search for missing files, it will most likely come up with a list of rpms where these files are, locate ones for your distro and platform, if there are non for MDK get ones for RedHat (make sure you download the latest and platform specific ones), download them and install, it might throw other dependency errors, so repeat the steps as necessary.
