wine

i just installed wine on my mandrake 10 rc1 with kde 3.2, after installation the wine graphical mode icon didnt show up in the menu bar, and i seem to be only able to find wine in the termianl by typing
"wine"

now how do i access the graphical setup for wine?

and if i just go to an .exe file and try to open it with wine, it says "no program start menu found"
now this probably because i didnt set it up properly since i can't access the graphical setup menedit

edit: i dun have windows. only linux

wine doesn't have a graphical anything for installing or configuring; separate programs can help you out with gui, but it is best to use wine through console

it is really easy; just do wine program.exe and see what happens

you will need to make sure you have your ~/.wine/config file setup properly (check www.frankscorner.org for good wineconfig setups; good one located at: http://frankscorner.org/modules.php?...tid=118&page=1)

If you want a gui for installing windows applications you'll have to get Crossover Office (retail Wine).

I bought it for nothing more than to support the project. And it does save me time when installing applications.
