I know this question had to have been answered 800 times, but I need to ask it again (and can't find the exact solution I need).
My setup is very simple. I have a single drive. I partitioned half the drive and installed Windows XP Professional. Everything was fine. Then I installed Red Hat 7.2 in a new partition in the empty space. During the installation, GRUB was installed into the MBR.
After the Linux installed, Linux booted and ran fine.
Now, however, when I try to boot Windows XP, I get the "missing HAL.DLL" error message.
The grub.conf entries look good to me, but I am a newbie...
Help!
Thanks!
