Windows network printer on linux Box

How do I ise it on linux machine?

1. Install cups, and start the cups dameon.

2. Install the print driver for your printer. See this link.

3. Open a web browser, in the location bar, type http://localhost:631 This will connect you to cups. You
need to add the printer as root. This is a windows shared printer, there is online help with cups on how to do the configuration.

Once the printer is configured, you can test it with Test Page. When you want to print from within any application, select what ever print option there is, and select your printer.
