windows media player skipping and distorting songs near end
i would greatly appreciate any help i can recieve. when i try to listen to music on my computer using windows media player, every song skips with exactly 20 seconds remaining on the track. do i need a better sound card? is it a problem with media player? i haven't been able to find any clear answer yet, so as i said before, i would love some help figuring this out. thanks

WMP is not a Linux application.

WMP is not a linux app but can be run in linux so should be supported. just disable the sound enhancements and it will work fine.....

If you are running Linux or BSD this will work much better than resource hog WMP.

You can use Xine, Totem or others as a front end if you want to. Works well by itself though. I use Linux Mplayer on my windows box's because it works better and uses less resources. Also has very good keyboard controls. |
Try a different player, that way you can find out quickly whether it isn't a hardware problem or file corruption.
