Windows manager warning? ???

Hi all, im new at the forums and pretty new to linux in general. I've recently installed slack 10 and all is working ok except I have a query over an error I get. I start up into run level 3 and then 'startx' to get to a gui ( gnome ). When I want to shutdown the computer I will log of and it dumps me back into run level 3 but i am always confronted with a series of errors. The errors state :

Windows manager warning: working around an application which called XSetInputFocus(none) or with RevertToNone instead of RevertToPointerRoot, this is a minor bug in some application. If you can figure out what application causes this please report it as a bug against that application.
Windows manager warning: Tried to Pinga window with CurrentTime! Not allowed
**(nautilis:1240) WARNING**destroyerd file still being monitored
(several lines of this )
**(nautilis:1240) bonobo-WARNING**Leaked a total of 6 refs to 6 bonobo objects

Well there ya go It doesn't seem to be upsetting my running of things, but still an error i'd like to get to the bottom of so any help would be much appreciated.

I used to get that warning all the time. It seems relatively harmless. I fixed it by switching to BlackBox.

Probably not the answer you're looking for, but not even the window manager was able to tell what program was doing it. Tracking it down yourself might prove difficult and not worth the effort. Like the message said, it's a minor bug.

Ahh thankyou, hmm yes it only seems minor, however I'm a bit of a perfectionist lol and well it would be good to get it sorted.

Well, after another shutdown I got the followinh message, pretty same theme as before just not exactly the same. The error message was as follows:

**(nautilis:1419):WARNING**destroyed file still being monitored

hash table keys for warning below:
file:///home/khronus/.trash
file:///home/khronus
file:///home

(nautilis:1419): Eel warning**:"nautilis-metafile.c:metafiles" hash table still has 3 elements at quit time
(nautilis:1419): Bonobo-WARNING**nautilis-directory.c:directories

This is just a hunch - but from the way it looks, I'd assume Nautilus isn't exting correctly. Are you closing all windows before logging off, or just simply logging off and letting the X server kill them? If this really isn't bothering anything, I'd put it on the back burner, but not take it off the stove (metaphorically speaking of course. That kind of heat could really damage your motherboard.)
Basically, I wouldn't really worry about it unless something else goes wrong. If something else goes wrong, you may want to look into this a little deeper (take a look @ /etc/X11/ - check your log files), especially if that something happens to/with Nautilus.
