Windows Installation on Fedora Core 4 Test 2 Dell Dimension 9200

I have Fedora Core 4 test 2 on a Dell Inspiron 9200. I have no previous Windows installation. I want to install Windows. When I put the Windows XP disk in the drive and boot from it, it says: "Checking Hardware Configuration..." The disk starts speeding up so it can read the CD and then suddenly it stops and I am left with a blank Screen. I have no idea where to go from here.

That is not a problem with linux nor a linuxquestion. The software (Fedora Core 4) is not able to block the installation of Windows. It may be a bad CDRom or if it isn't a burnt copy, check and see if google has any issues with that system and installing.
