Hello i just installed suse 10.0 onmy comp. I have a seperate harddrive for music and i used it win i had windos. well i tried pluging up my second hardrive so i could listen to my music and it wont open it says the hd has not been mouted so i went into root adn tried to mount it but that didnt work is it becu i had it on windows and it wont switch over to linux can ne one help thanks. I dont want to loose my music.
um i think it wuz the fat thing im not to sure i had the schools people help me adn it took a while to format it in windows but after that i would just click adn drag music adn other files into it.

These are file formats. try mount -t ntfs etc. first, if nothing succeeds, try mount -t vfat etc.
And one more thing: try to type clearly. The above sentence typed by you looks like this:
Thse rae fajl fmorats. Try mnuot t- ftns etc. frist.
no they share the same cabel adn i turn off the comp when i plug adn unplug the music hd is just for storage no operating sstem so when i put linux on my comp i though there would be no problem retriving the music
