Windows disappear when minimized in KDE 3.5
 

Hi all, downloaded and installed KDE 3.5 on Zenwalk linux, when KDE loaded it had the normal panel at the bottom of the screen and one at the top. The one at the top was where all the open windows went. I got rid of the top panel but now when i open any window nothing comes up on the panel at the bottom of the screen. Does anybody know how i can get the open things to show on the bottom panel?

Ahhh, ok i found it, right click the panel==> add applet==> Taskbar

You may want to check the bar(whatever it's called) for an open apps applet or something like that. I don't recall if you have to add the applet, or if it is on by default, but there is an applet for viewing open apps. If you don't have it, right click the bar and add applet or something like that.
