Windowmaker questions

I just reinstalled MDK, again, and have decided to use Windowmaker. So far I really like it alot more than KDE. I have 3 questions.

1)I need a way to easily adjust my volume. I looked at the volume.apps (the one that looks like a volume knob). So when I dock the app what am I supposed to use as the command line arguement? Like when I made the dock for xmms I just put xmms like I would to run it from the command line.

2)Is Nautaulis a good file manager to use with it? I thought I saw another in there called Quanta but I can't seem to find it now.

3)When I was using KDE and tried to do something that required me to be root, I always had to log out and then back in. So today when I was installing Wolfenstein it told me I had to be root. So I had to switch to KDE and be root to install it. Is there a way to do this and stay in windowmaker?

uhhhh... you should just be able to drop the app over to your dock and be ready to go. it won't start on x boot, but you can set it to do so by right clicking on the app when it's not running, then going to settings.

as for being root while installing, you should just be able to "su root" from the terminal you're using to do the install. if you're not using a terminal, then use one... it's better that way. :-)
