WindowMaker, Black Box, Fedora, and adding a C Compiler

Greetings all,

I asked this question in another channel and couldn't get much of a response, so I'm reaching out to anyone in here who might be able to help. I'm wanting to add themes to my Fedora box, but the default Window Managers (KDE and GNOME) won't add the themes in. I went back to the themes.freshmeat.org website and saw that the themes I want to use can only be run from either Window Maker or Black Box. Naturally, I downloaded the tar.gz files for both programs. I then went to install the programs and got the following errors: configure: error: no acceptable cc found in $PATH (this is installing Black Box) and configure: error: no acceptable C compiler found in $PATH (this is installing Window Maker). The response I got was that I needed to add a C Compiler to $PATH environment variable. Anyways, I have no clue how to do this. So, I'm hoping that someone might have some answers how to get this done. Unfortunately, the documentation for both programs gives no indication on how to do this and I've checked other sites and documents to see how to add a C Compiler to the $PATH environment variable and haven't found anything. Of note, I tried running the Window Maker RPM and that wouldn't work either.

install the gcc rpm from your distro cd's. OR just plain get an blackbox or fluxbox or waimea or openbox (which all use the same themes) rpm from the respective site. if you have particular problems please provide more details.

i think you might be geting a bit confused over what these window managers are... changing your window manager simply because of a theme you want to try is a bit odd. the difference between kde and fluxbox is VAST.
