Window manager preferences for remote vnc sessions?
I am currently trying to decide on a window manager for remote vnc sessions, and wondering what others prefer and why. I've found I tend to use gnome when I am within my lan, and blackbox when I am at work, school, vacation, etc. I have recently taken a look at fluxbox as well, and I don't really see a difference between the two. Other window managers I've looked at are KDE (which I didn't care for) and XFCE (also not a favorite).
So... just wondering if people would be kind enough to share there preference of window managers for vnc sessions, and perhaps a couple reasons to explain why. Also, any suggestions for other window managers would certainly be welcome. Thanks! |
i use an extremely limited window manager when i vnc, twm is the default, but i dont like a few things about it, so i use fvwm, i think its a lot better than twm and isnt as clunky as gnome or kde
