Window Maker

I just have a couple of questions regarding Window Maker.

The first thing I noticed is that the configuration buttons (the buttons on the top left and right of the screen) all have their own mouse click menu. Is there anyway to remove them from the desktop, and after I remove them is there anyway to restore them if I run into a problem?

Also does anyone know if there is anyway to remove the icons that pop up when an application is opened?

I just read a review of different windows managers so I had to try them all out, WM is really nice but I don't dig any of the icons.

Any help will be appreciated.

wmaker is fully configureable nextstep window manager

meaning that you can remove anything you whant and get them back later.

What do you mean under "configuration buttons"?

Read the man pages.... everything is there....
And check out configuration utility that comes with wmaker...
It should be the lowest of the three dock apps... It is green with wmaker logo on it...

I meant is there anyway to remove the dock buttons. I figure that there must be a way considering it is highly configurable.

To remove an app icon, right-click on the app title-bar, and open the option menu. I don't remember where it is exactly, but it should be in there.
