Win XP + Win 2000 + Fedora Core 2

Hi guys, I am helping a friend to multi-boot his PC with three OSes: Win XP + Win 2000 + Fedora Core 2... Don't ask me why he needs Win XP and Win 2000... I don't get it myself :P And here is my problem:

These are the steps I took to set up:
1. Install windows 2000 as normal
2. Install windows XP as normal. XP and 2000 can be booted through the windows "happy family" boot loader.
3. Tried to install FC2 but it told me that there is something wrong about the partition table. I chose to ignore it and continue but ending up being not able to boot the two windows.

I restarted the whole process but it still claimed that there is something wrong about the partition table, so I paused there.

I have no access to the computer now so I cannot post the partition table.

What do you think? Is there any catches that I should take notice in setting up a tri-boot systems like this?

Thanks.

I think it is probably the Fedora dualboot bug
(for more details http://lwn.net/Articles/86835/).

I'm running dual boot WinXP Home / FC2 on the same physical HD. Installed XP by wiping all partitions and creating a fresh 8GB NTFS partition (only being used for Sims2 and a few kids games). Installed FC2, partitioned the rest of the HD, GRUB automatically picked up the XP partition and works great.

Hi

I'm not answering a question, instead I have a question.
I have WinXP and have just installed Fedora core 2 on my system.

I have two hard drives:
the first hard drive contains WinXP.
The second I installed Fedora.
I did a dual boot and can safely boot any OS i want.

my question is(very newbie question) if I remove the Linux hard drive, will I still be able to boot WinXP? or is there anything I should do before or after removing the drive.

Thanx in advance.
