Will Manjaro Linux Net edition act like Manjaro or a base install of Arch?

Greetings,
I am considering downloading and installing Manjaro Linux Net edition, which is a base edition of Manjaro without any desktop environment or software applications of any kind.
My question is this, will it still act like Manjaro in as much as it will keep all of its characteristics intact including its rolling release characteristics even without any desktop or applicatations installed, or will it behaive more like it's parent distro Arch linux, or a base install of Arch?
If it won't, maybe I'd be better off just downloading and installing said parent distro, Arch instead.

Thank you

For more experienced - and adventurous - users Manjaro also offers the configurability and versatility to be shaped and moulded in every respect to suit personal taste and preference. Furthermore, a minimalist NET-Edition is also available in both 32 and 64 bit versions. Stripped of any pre-installed software, this provides a base installation on which to build your own system; starting from a command line, be completely free to chose your own greeters, desktops, hardware drivers, software applications, and so on.

I was not able to find any documentation that Manjaro will behave more like Arch.

Maybe a member running Manjaro will chime in and explain for you.

As stated already by Ztcoracat, the NET-edition is simply a stripped down installation medium that can be used to install a stripped down version of Manjaro, not unlike Debian's netinstall CD.
It will still use the Manjaro repositories (with its more stable core repositories) and offer the tools specific to Manjaro.

What's the difference between a "Net edition" and just a standard, regular edition of a distro installed without a desktop environment or any software applications?

There is none. The net editions just make that easier and you don't have to download a full sized ISO file with packages you probably don't want to install anyways.
