Will Mandrake9.1 overwrite RH9 installation?

Hi All,

If I use Disk Drak on the Mandrake9.1 installer, will it overwrite a Redhat9 installation?
Unfortunately I cannot seem to create a new Linux partition with Partition Magic7 (tells me that 'disk is not formatted')
So I was hoping that Mandrake could set up a partition without interfering with RH9....can anyone help?

Hi aviceda

You can tell Mandrake to:

Delete all existing partitions

Mnadrake can also:

Keep all existing partitions and use free space

Mandrakes own installer can create partitions too.

I suggest you do a backup of anything important before trying out anything. Or you may have already done it?
