will knoppix work for this application

I am alot more fluent with knoppix than i am with mandrake. I am building a file server for a small business (about 25 computers). Will knoppix be sufficient to run the file server to do daily backups and have folders for each employee to do backups of their important files or should i use mandrake since it is geared more towards the commercial networks.

Why not use the debian it's based on?

Ubuntu maybe?

how experienced are you? If your a knoppix maestro then maybe Debian. or try a harder one like Slackware.

in my experience Mandrake is very non standard and rather limited

no flame ware please!

The question is whether you can set it up properly.

ANY distro would be sufficient, given enough experience
in the person driving it.
