WiFi w/ Mandrake 9.2: Multiple APs

I've been mostly successful using the gui network configuration utility with my SMC2532W-B card - Mandrake identifies the card as a D-Link and uses an Orinoco driver... but what the hell, it works. I am able to connect to the strongest AP signal in a given vicinity (I can verify that it's the strongest by using something like Netstumbler in Windows)

My question is, how can I see and connect to other APs from within Linux?

Thanks for any comments, suggestions
