Wifi option is there but no wifi scanning or wifi not working
 

I'm using external adapter of ralink
wifi works in kali live
but in installed kali wifi option is there but not showing available wifi
but wifi was scanned in fern software
so whats issue
here screenshot of ifconfig
lsusb list ralink
kali linux version is 2018.1
laptop is hp bs576tx

I think wifi, and maybe all networking, is turned off in Kali by default.
