I switched to kde-plasma recently. Its UI is amazing. Everything is fine untill i see that there is no wifi option in it. I googled and tried via terminal but it is not working. Every time i want to connect to a different wifi, I should login to Gnome desktop and make a connection. Is there any better option?I use Kali. Thanks in advance.
You need to install the plasma network manager applet. I use Gentoo, where the package is named "plasma-nm".
If it is already installed, you need to add it :
right click the system tray, and in general enable the "Networks" extra item.
Thank you very much serafean. Plasma-nm worked for me. I tried installing the package without Gentoo but I ended up failing to install. When I installed Gentoo and then tried installing plasma-nm it worked. Can you tell me what is the need of Gentoo in this. I tried opening gentoo, it shows two different windows having same folders and having some options. Why is the use of it actually. Once again Thanku..

Sorry, misunderstanding. I use Gentoo, the distribution. I specified this because the package could have been named differently in your distro. Gentoo, the file manager, doesn't come into this at all.

Then what miracle happened. Before installing gentoo it told that packages can not be installed and after installing gentoo every package is installed. I don't know how it happened. May be I'll come across that in future. Once again thanks for your support.
One more query serafean, Do you know anything about window decorations in application style? 'Cause when I installed breezemite it is failing to show at selection area. Thanks for your time.
