wifi netstumbler and etherape

i used a gateay nv5214u laptop the wifi worked but the netstumber and etherape softare said the aetheros and broadcom controllers where invalid or incompatable but both software programs identified them????

any ideas ????

So this problem is under Windows as well? Because there is no Linux NetStumbler version as far as I know.

Can you give the exact error message the programs show?
