Is the a WIFI friendly Linux distribution that recognizes wireless networks?

All modern Linux distributions have support for wireless devices. Is there a specific chipset that you are looking to have supported out of the box, or some WiFi configuration software you want included?

Like MS3FGX said, all the modern distros have support for wireless. "WIFI friendly" is an entirely different story, depending on the chipset your card uses. I have a card with an Atheros chipset. Some distros see it during install, but don't bring it up. Some distros don't see it at all and require lots of manual fiddling to get it to work (and many times it still doesn't work). Some people have chipsets that almost never have problems (gotta get me one of those one day.).

Also like MS3FGX said about about out-of-box, WiFi config software,etc. Know what you have and know what you want to do with it.

Personally, I prefer PCLinuxOS 2007. It 'sees' my Atheros card, but doesn't bring the interface up on initial boot. The "Configure My Computer" button brings up all the config tools I need and it's a simple matter to bring up the interface, and it only has to be done that one time. It's about as WiFi friendly as I've seen for my card (I've only installed a dozen or so linux distros: a drop in the bucket)
