Wierd problem with LInux Mint desktop

Everytime I take a snapshot or use the skype "share screen" feature, it always displays my desktop or a page/program that's no longer open.

Anybody have indeas on what this can be ? I really like Linux Mint, but this issue is really annoying.

What application are you using the take the snapshot?

If it's Skype, can you take a screenshot with another program, such as Ksnapshot or the Gnome screenshot tool or Xscreenshot? A yes will mean that this is a Skype problem.
